‘The Beatles: Get Back’: everything we know about the Beatles docuseries
The Fab Four are back together in a brand new docu-series, The Beatles: Get Back, which has now arrived on Disney Plus. (What To Watch)
The Beatles remain relevant more than half a century after they stopped playing together, as one of the most influential and popular bands ever and with fans of all ages. One of those fans is Peter Jackson, who has put together The Beatles: Get Back, which offers plenty of never-before-seen footage of the band. It will give viewers the chance to watch the band jam together and also have a lot of fun.
This is just one of the many examples of fantastic music-based content that has already come out this year or is set to come out soon. Already we’ve had a new documentary on Paul McCartney on Hulu, McCartney 3, 2, 1; recently there was the Adele One Night Only concert (now streaming on Paramount Plus, while U.K. viewers have their own Audience with Adele coming up); and a special broadcast of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s final concert together on Nov. 28, along with additional related content.
When is ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ release date? (What To Watch)
The return of The Beatles was delivered to music fans the world over from Nov. 25-27, with an episode being released each day. Fans watched in bunches, but that is not the last of The Beatles: Get Back that we will be getting.
Deadline has reported that a 60-minute movie of The Beatles rooftop concert from the documentary has been crafted and will be released in select IMAX theaters on Jan. 30 (the 53rd anniversary of the concert) and feature a Q&A interview with director Peter Jackson. Dubbed The Beatles:
Get Back — The Rooftop Concert, the movie will then get a global release from Feb. 11-13. Tickets for The Beatles: Get Back — The Rooftop Concert are available here.
In addition, a Blu-ray/DVD copy of The Beatles: Get Back is going to be made available in the U.S. as of Feb. 8.

Is there a trailer for ‘The Beatles: Get Back’? (What To Watch)
There most certainly is. Disney Plus dropped a trailer for The Beatles: Get Back in October that shows off some of the footage fans will see. Specifically, the trailer features many of the lighter moments that the band had together during these sessions but also hints at the future break-up that was right around the corner.
Watch the trailer below.
You can also learn more about the process of making the documentary and what’s in store from a special 60 Minutes segment on it that aired on Nov. 14. A brief clip from that segment is available to watch on YouTube.
The full 60 Minutes episode featuring the full interview is available, for US viewers, to stream on Paramount Plus.
Director Peter Jackson case you were wondering, Peter Jackson, is the Peter Jackson who made The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, as well as King Kong, Heavenly Creatures, and many more films. The Oscar-winning director has been getting more into documentary work in recent years, most notably with his epic and fantastic World War I documentary They Shall Not Grow Old.
It should also be noted that Jackson isn’t the only big name attached to the project, as all living members of The Beatles, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, as well as Yoko Ono Lennon, served as executive producers for the documentary.
How to catch up on ‘Yellowstone’ seasons 1-4 (What To Watch)
Yellowstone, the Paramount Network drama that is one of the most-watched shows on cable, just wrapped up season 4 on Jan. 2, which more than 10 million people watched. If you’ve heard of Yellowstone but haven’t had the time to sit down and get into it, this is the perfect time to start the series and be ready for season 5. Here’s how to catch up with Yellowstone from the very beginning.
Created by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River), Yellowstone takes place in modern-day Montana and is centered on the Dutton family, who own one of the largest cattle ranches in the country. Of course, this fact makes them a target for a number of different groups and individuals trying to encroach on the Dutton’s land.
The series stars Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Will Patton, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merill, Jefferson White, Gil Birmingham, and Ian Bohen. Season 4 also saw the inclusion of Jackie Weaver, Piper Perabo, Kathryn Kelly, and Finn Little to the cast.
But how to watch Yellowstone? The easiest option is to stream it. While Yellowstone airs on Paramount Network, which is owned by ViacomCBS, the ViacomCBS-owned streaming service, Paramount Plus does not have all Yellowstone seasons available. Instead, the first three seasons of Yellowstone are currently available to stream on Peacock, while Paramount Plus has the most recent fourth season.
Season 1 of Yellowstone
Consumers can watch the first episode of season 1 of Yellowstone on Peacock for free, but after that, a Peacock Premium subscription (either the ad-supported $4.99 per month plan or ad-free $9.99 per month plan) is needed to watch all 29 episodes of the first three seasons. For Paramount Plus, the streaming service offers a month-long free trial, but after that, you’ll be paying either a $4.99 per month or $9.99 per month fee.
Another option is to watch episodes of Yellowstone as they play on Paramount Network. As the cable network’s biggest show, it gets a good bit of play. In recent months the network has done a couple of Yellowstone marathons of all the episodes. So you can always keep an eye out for one of those and either settle in for a long weekend or record them for viewing later.
Paramount Network is a cable channel, so if you are a traditional cable/satellite pay-TV provider, be sure to check to see if it is part of your plan. The network is also included as part of the channel lineup for FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV live TV streaming services.
Or, you can own your own piece of Yellowstone, as season 4 of the show is getting a Blu-ray/DVD box set that is scheduled to be released on March 8. Featuring four discs for Blu-ray and five discs for DVD, in addition to the show the box set offers four hours of additional content.

With VAVA’s 4K UST projector, you can project up to 150 inches on your wall for just $2,799.
The projector also comes with 4K quality and a built-in Harman Kardon stereo soundbar. No more driving to the cinema and sitting with strangers who can’t stop talking. Instead, grab a drink and enjoy a nice and peaceful movie night with your loved ones.

Unlike a 100-pound TV, VAVA’s projector only weighs 24 lbs – lighter than most puppies. You can easily move it around the house as often as you want. Carrying it to a friend’s place to watch the Superbowl? No problem. All you need is a box smaller than a carry-on suitcase.
